Our Story

The couple started dating in 2015 and have been together ever since. This photo is from one of Zach's first trips out to Boston to visit Julia.

In 2016, Julia moved from Boston to live with Zach in Minneapolis. Here's a photo of them drinking their first of many beers together at Surly Brewing.

During the polar vortex of 2019, they loaded up their things, and with the help of Jim and Donnette, moved to Chicago!

Zach proposed at Grand Central Station in New York City in March of 2024...and Julia said yes!

They plan to be wed in small civil ceremony on April 27th 2025 in Chicago, just on the other side of this Dolly Parton mural.

We look forward to celebrating our next chapter with all of you in Minneapolis on June 7th 2025!
