Question

Will there be a ceremony at this event?

Answer

We are getting married in a small civil ceremony in Chicago this April prior to the reception (also known as a "micro ceremony"). We wanted a chance to celebrate our new chapter with all our loved ones, so we are hosting this larger reception in June to give everyone a chance to come together and have food dancing, and fun!

Is there parking at your reception venue?

Answer

There is mainly street parking near the event. Diane's Place is currently looking into more options for parking for us, and we will update the website if we hear more. Until then we encourage you to carpool or rideshare if you are able!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please let us know your allergies when you RSVP. The dinner will be served buffet style so we will do our best to accommodate and label all dishes.

Do you have a registry?

Answer

I donated, but I'd also like to give a gift specifically to the couple, how can I do that?

Answer

Thank you for donating, it really means a lot to both of us. These organizations are important and very needed in our communities. We really appreciate your generosity. Currently we are in the process of searching for our first home, so any advice or contributions to that journey are most welcome, but certainly not required. Thank you for being apart of this new chapter with us!
