How We Met
We both were committed to Dakota Wesleyan University to run cross country and track. Before school starts, they have all the athletes move in early and start fall camp. The very first time we met was at a meeting with the coaches and teammates. I was already in the meeting room when the freshman boys all walked in late (typical). Already I was over the boys on the team and thought they were going to be no match for the teammates I had in high school. However, later that night, all the freshman on the cross country team got together to hang out. I avoided Zach like the plague and pretty much kept it like that for the entire first week of practices. However, the more we all hung out as a team, the more it became obvious me and Zach liked each other. This eventually led to our first date at a really expensive Italian restaurant, a walk around the beautiful lake Mitchell and to now . . .
