Look into reservations as some places require them - Monserate Winery is in Fallbrook (south of Temecula) is also beautiful with great food options, this is the winery Zach & Ali are wine club members at

- Mirimar area is not the cutest area (just has a lot of warehouses and stuff) but there are a bunch of good breweries there like Ballast Point (also has a great restaurant), AleSmith, and Pure Project - North Park (30th street) is a cuter area with lots of restaurants and also has a bunch of smaller breweries like Modern Times, North Park Beer company, and Belching Beaver - Stone Brewing in Liberty Station has a lot of space so is great for big groups especially if it’s a nice day and the outdoor patio is open
- La Jolla Shores: best for a beach day, has areas for BBQs, fire pits, and the most parking available - Pacific Beach: best for walking along the beach without getting sandy, also walking distance from lots of good restaurants and bars - There’s also beautiful beaches in North County that are closer to Temecula like Carlsbad State Beach & Moonlight Beach
- Torrey Pines is a beautiful hike with ocean views and different trails with options for hiking all the way down to the beach or staying on the paved trail. It’s uphill in the beginning but then levels out at the top - Ho Chi Min trail is a pretty difficult hike with some climbing involved but very unique with slot canyons and also ends at the ocean. Wear clothes you’re prepared to get dirty and don’t go after it rained or it will be really muddy and slippery - Mission Bay bike path is a flat and easy option with still nice ocean views - Potato Chip Rock is in North County and is pretty fun, definitely wear a hat/sunscreen on sunny days
- San Diego Zoo & San Diego Wild Animal Park - Balboa park museums - Farmers markets (in Little Italy on Wednesdays and Saturdays, Hillcrest on Sundays) - Bike around Coronado and get a drink at Hotel del Coronado - There’s a great kayaking tour in La Jolla Shores - Watch the seals in La Jolla Cove and walk down into the sea cave at The Cave Store - Take a group beer bike tour in downtown - Go to the speakeasy Raised by Wolves and walk around the bougie mall in La Jolla after - Ride the wooden roller coaster and other rides at Belmont park
