Ali & Zach had their first date on Feb. 10, 2024 at The Lafayette where they first bonded over their zest for life, closeness with family, and of course their love of Taylor Swift. They both knew it was a good sign when the four hours of that first date flew by and they literally talked until the lights came on. They had all their next three dates within the following week so it didn’t take long to know they were a great match. On March 4th, Ali & Zach went on a sushi date at the beach, and that’s the night Ali knew she was in love with Zach. She got up the courage to tell him a few days later and luckily, the feeling was mutual. As soon as Ali met Zach's family, they already felt like her family and she loved seeing how much they adore Zach. In May, Ali & Zach flew up to Sacramento where Ali’s family instantly witnessed their strong connection, and Ali’s Dad famously welcomed Zach with a freshly tapped beer. Ali & Zach continued to build more memories together that summer including trips to Catalina & Yosemite, friends' weddings, and becoming wine club members. In September, they decided to move in together and hosted a housewarming party with emphasis on the “warming” because it happened to be almost 90 degrees with no air conditioning. Luckily their friends and family still gave their unwavering support. In 2025, Ali & Zach started to really align their daily routine including waking up early for hot yoga sculpt workouts, having breakfast & lunch together since they both work from home, and of course, finishing the day with cuddles from their cat Riley. In March, Ali & Zach went on their first international trip together to Paris & Ireland. They started off in Paris with champagne at the top of the Eiffel Tower, a 3-course dinner cruise on the Seine, and Michelin star restaurants, but all that romance was just the build-up for March 14, 2025 in Tipperary, Ireland where Zach proposed. Zach had hired a “tour guide” who was actually the disguised photographer and when she whipped out her big camera to take a photo, Ali finally started catching on. Zach knelt to a knee and said some beautiful words about how he knows Ali is the one, and of course she said yes! That stunning proposal was followed by the most lovely afternoon tea with a view of the Rock of Cashel where they’d just gotten engaged. In the rest of 2025, Ali & Zach look forward to traveling on more weekend trips and continuing to spend time with family & friends.
