New Orleans has a city-wide mandate requiring vaccinations or proof of negative COVID tests for entry into all establishments, including the wedding, reception, and all weekend activities. For more information please visit: https://ready.nola.gov/incident/coronavirus/safe-reopening/ For those utilizing a COVID test for the weekend and plan to stay longer than the allotted 72 hours permitted by a COVID test, you will need to arrange for multiple tests while in town.
Z + R take COVID seriously. They've delayed their wedding for too long to get sloppy at the finish line. In order to keep everyone safe and throw an epic party, let's all do our part. You know the drill at this point. Don't come if you are not feeling well, have been around someone that's sick or tested positive for COVID, etc. Wear a mask, bring perimeter cones or 6 foot stick to keep strangers away - it's your call. Do what you gotta do to keep yourself and our crew safe. As stated elsewhere, vaccinations and/or proof of negative COVID tests are required to enter all establishments in NOLA including wedding ceremony, reception, and other weekend activities.
This is an adults only wedding weekend. We love your kids, we really do, but New Orleans is not for the babies. We're here for late nights, live music, too many drinks, and to celebrate with you! Trust us, leave the kids at home, come ready to party, and you won't regret it. You'll have the time of your lives.
Not necessary, but yes, absolutely! Check out the registry tab at the top of the page for our wish-list. Due to the destination nature of the wedding, please do not bring gifts to New Orleans. You can send them to: 14 West Beach Lagoon, Hilton Head, SC, 29928
Absolutely! We'll have plenty of food options at the reception, but if you have special dietary restrictions, let us know in your RSVP and we'll make sure you're taken care of!
Days are often sunny and warm (65-70) but evenings and the occasional chilly-day can dip down around 50.
It's Mardi Gras! Get all your info on parades, concerts, and carnival happenings here: https://www.mardigrasneworleans.com/ Also see the "Things to do" tab at the top of the page for more NOLA recommendations.
No transport is provided over the weekend. Given it being Mardi Gras, we recommend everyone staying close to or in the French Quarter. There will be a lot of traffic and you should expect significant delays getting across town (think 1.5 hrs+). For the same reasons we do not recommend renting a car for the weekend and instead rely on ride share services.
