Our wedding day!
Let's set the scene, shall we? This relationship started in 1998. If you're here you already know this is not your average meet cute story. This is a love saga spanning decades. One that started in middle school when Zach, new to town, arrived rocking his east coast flannel and "Boy Meets World" long hair. Rachel, clad in Abercrombie & Fitch and a mouthful of braces. These awkward teens crushed hard and with the help of a mutual friend, impatient with their foot dragging, stood between them and asked, "Do you like Zach? Do you like Rachel?" They both said I do. "Great," he said. "Now you're together." And so they were. Because that's how it works in 8th grade, right? The only thing that was missing from the quintessential middle school romance was the passed note with check boxes for yes, no, and maybe. Some version of this continued for more than a decade. They navigated the push and pull complexities of lifelong friendship and part time lovers. Their lives breathing them together and apart as they grew in their own ways, towards and away from each other, always knowing that they were each other's person. Finally, tired of a life without Rachel, from his home in a remote village in Tanzania, Zach decided to break what had grown into a five year silence. The rest is history. As you can imagine, there's a lot more to this story - stories within stories. If you want to hear the rest, you'll just have to join them in Nola. Zach's favorite drink is a Rynar and Rachel's is a vodka water. Come buy them a drink, hear the rest of the story, and witness the last word of the prologue, because chapter one starts February 19th. First Date: 1998 | Wedding: 2022 Do the Math. Party Accordingly. 🤍Please note that this is an adult only wedding weekend 🤍
