Wedding Party

Our People <3

Ande Pliego

Matron of Honor

Cheryl's (little) sister, she shared in all the most important and life changing moments. From being sisters to becoming best friends, she's been my most honest and loyal person. I'm so proud of her and the fierce woman she's become, from being an incredible mom to an amazing writer and everything in between. She's going to keep everyone in line on the wedding day and I'm so grateful to have her by my side.

Joseph Grant

Best Man

Joe and I have been great friends since we lived in the same dorm, and we shared a simple conversation consisting of approximately 6 words. From outdoor passions to nerdy stuff, Joe and I have been camping, diving, and climbing, with regular intervals of D&D and other games.

Tay Harrington

Maid of Honor

First a roommate, then a friend, then a sister. I've lived with Tay these last two years and they have been some of the sweetest years of friendship I've ever had. Tay has encouraged me, comforted me, and taught me so much. I've been so grateful to be so excited to be home just so we can enjoy each other's company, watch TV shows (thanks for introducing me to HIMYM and New Girl), and eat mochi. If there is anything sad about this moment, it's that I'll miss living with her.

Daniel Lalonde

Groomsman

Dan and I first met on a drama ministry team our freshman year and ended up as my last roommate I'll have had. He's been a great confidant and is always willing to speak his mind. We've taken many trips together and regularly travel between Lynchburg and Richmond.

Grace Neetz

Bridesmaid

Grace is among my heroes. Being her younger cousin, I've looked up to her my entire life, and I'm so honored to be related to her. We've lived together, cried together, prayed for our future husbands together, and crossed the entire US in a car (from Utah to Florida). When I've thought about who would be standing next to me on my wedding day, she's always been on the list.

Jesse Myers

Groomsman

Jesse and I crossed paths many times during college, but didn't really get to know one another until the summer after, where we realized how much we had in common. Born on the same day, just one year apart, we both love climbing, backpacking, anime, and are allergic to bees. Jesse has been a great friend and a great dentist.

Robyn Pintovidal

Bridesmaid

This is my OG adventure buddy. We've been best friends for 10 years and have shared in trips from coast to coast. I had the honor of being with her for her first plane ride, and we've explored the heights of NYC and the wildness of Oregon together. We continue to share the big life moments together (and our love of Taylor Swift), and I'm excited to see where in the world I get to visit her.

Josh Rich

Groomsman

Josh has been another one of my outdoor buddies. Starting out as a good ole board short Floridian, Josh is now one of the most experienced outdoors experts I know and has a lot of experience guiding and teaching outdoors sports and surviving the wilderness. He, Jesse and I have spent countless hours exploring the outdoors. I know I can always count on Josh to set up an exciting, and yet safe, trip.

Lauren Foss

Bridesmaid

Usually you bond in college, but I believe it's a testament to our friendship that we continued to grow closer after we were no longer college roommates. Lauren has been a safe space, and an absorber of so many conversations processing life and all its complexities. She has encouraged me in my faith so much, and also helped push me up mountains (literally). Lauren even successfully got me to move to Washington (and stay with her parents), and we've enjoyed (seemingly) endless hikes and drives. She's so faith-filled she's fearless. Our friendship is characterized by deep sweetness and navigating difficult trails, both literal and figurative, and I'm so grateful we get to share this moment.

Ian Dutkus

Groomsman

Ian and I shared multiple classes together in college and have worked together since. Since then, we've grown together, seeing each other through a lot over the years, and he's always provided insightful advice and tells it straight, usually accompanied by a joke. One of my Warhammer buddies, we've spent our fair share of time playing peak nerd games together.

Sarah Roulette

Bridesmaid

If I were to post a pic with the caption "this and yap" (as these Gen Zers do), it would definitely be with Sarah on the beach or a screenshot of a phone call. She's been one of those people who I "clicked" with immediately, and it's grown into a fun, long-talk filled friendship. I've loved listening to her wise analysis of both our lives, and appreciated all the honesty that's come with it. We've spent countless hours laughing and talking and I'm so grateful that while we've spent more time apart than in person, she remains one of my closest friends.

Phil Devine

Groomsman

Phil is one of my oldest friends. We met through some mutual friends just before going into high school and did everything over the next four years together. Having lived in different countries the last couple of years has kept us from seeing one another regularly, but we've always kept up, and it's like we never quit spending time with one another.
