The easiest way to get there is through Medellin. There will be at least one transfer when coming from US (unless you fly through Miami), most likely in Panama or Bogota. When coming from Europe you can catch a flight with a transfer in Bogota from Madrid, Barcelona, Paris, London, Amsterdam. Only direct flight from Europe is from Madrid. For the best prices check Skyscanner, that can find you the most suitable connection: https://www.skyscanner.com/ Once you arrive at the airport, you'll have to find transportation to the hotel. We would recommend to avoid the regular taxis, as they have a bad rep (don't they everywhere?). Instead, you can use services of Uber or a transport companies (colectivos) that sell their ticket directly to the airport and most likely you will share a car with multiple people. In case your cell service provider don't give you an international data plan, you can purchase a sim card with prepaid data at the airport from company called "Claro". If you are still not sure what to do with the transportation and are not planning to get the sim card with the data, the hotel also offers transportation from the hotel - which is typically $25 per car (4 people). We found a perfect hotel for our crew in an amazing location in Medellin - El Poblado which is one of the best districts.
