Traveling to Buena Vista
Buena Vista is a 2 hour 15 minute drive from Denver, and about 2 hours 45 minutes from Denver International Airport. Out of town guests will need to rent a car or arrange transportation otherwise. There are two ways to get to Buena Vista -- taking 285 through Kenosha Pass, or taking i70 West through Leadville. These are drives we do often, and both are gorgeous! We highly recommend taking one way there, and the other way back to maximize your time in beautiful Colorado! There are no Uber/Lyft's in Buena Vista, so guests should plan accordingly. We highly recommend guests figure out lodging before RSVPing yes.

The Surf Hotel
We would love as many guests as possible to stay with us at the Surf Hotel, where the wedding ceremony and reception will be hosted! Room block space may fill up quickly. The room block will be for Friday & Saturday night, and the rate averages $360 per night. Instructions for the room block are below: Click the link to the Surf Hotel & Chateau website and go to book Select "Special Codes & Rates". From the dropdown menu, select "Group Code." Enter the following group code: PatrickJackie2025 The arrival date should be the day before the wedding, and the departure date the day after the wedding. You will then be able to book a room under the group block. If you do not type in the dates of your block, or do not type in the code, the system may show as no availability. In order to reserve dates other than the ones above, you must reserve over the phone at 719-966-7048. A two night minimum stay is required to receive the group discount.

House Or Rental
South Main Residences by Surf Hotel
There are several apartments and homes in the South Main neighborhood, close walking distance from the hotel, that you can rent via the Surf Hotel. They each sleep 4-6 guests, and may go quickly!

Best Western Vista Inn
The Best Western is a 6 minute drive / 30 minute walk to the Surf Hotel, and offers a nightly rate around $280. There is also a Super8 across the street from the Best Western with a similar nightly rate.

There are some rental properties in the area that may offer more cost effective options per person -- check out AirBNB & VRBO options in Buena Vista! These options may become limited, so we highly recommend booking quickly if you'd like to go this route.
