For two awkward introverted people their knight in shining armor was none other than TINDER! Kelsey one fateful evening came across Matt's Tinder profile seeing only a few pictures and The Devil Wears Prada movie quote, "I'm one stomach flu away from my goal weight." Loving his quirky sense of humor she swiped right and they became an instant Match! Shortly after Kelsey then received a 'Hey' in her DMs and the rest is history. It was an immediate connection and lovely 21st Century Millennial love story.

June 15th, 2020 they went on their way to go camping at Devil's Lake State Park. It was a somewhat spontaneous date. Matt, an opportunistic man, thought this would be a great place to propose. For the past five months he had had the wedding ring and was stealthily hiding it in different spots around their apartment. With a pandemic springing up it put a bit of a damper on his original proposal plans, but this could be perfect. They arrived on their site and began to set up camp. Matt suggested that they then go for a hike. It was a beautiful summer day and they went on their favorite trail. At the top it overlooked the entire lake sparkling in the sunlight. They waited for crowds to clear so that they could take a picture together at the top, but a group decided to settle in right at the prime spot so they decided to move on. They made their way back down the trail. Then the two saw a nice private little opening on some rocks that over looked the lake. It was beautiful. They looked around and found two teenage girls and Kelsey prompted Matt to ask one to take a picture for them. Matt reluctantly went over and asked one of them to take a picture and whispered to her, "Just take a video." as he handed her his phone. Matt and Kelsey struck a pose and Kelsey could feel Matt's shaky hand. Matt then put his hand in his pocket went down on one knee and pulled out the ring. He had many things he wanted to say, but in the heat of the moment he said, "I've wanted to say this for a long time. Kelsey, will you marry me?" In complete awe and happiness Kelsey nodded and said YES! It was one of the most happiest moments of their lives on the most perfect summer day in one of their favorite places in the world. It was perfect.
