Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

The wedding party and immediate family members will be contacted separately to coordinate on-site lodging. The Copper Creek Inn has multi-room luxury cabins and we will be assigning cabins. For all others, there are several local lodges, cabins, and bed and breakfasts within a 10-30 minute drive. We highly encourage people to book these spots as soon as possible. More information and specific options are listed in the Travel tab. We are looking into reserving a hotel block at the nearest chain of hotels, likely around a 1-hour drive from the venue. More information will be coming. Summer in Mount Rainier, and the greater Seattle region, is extremely popular and accommodation will fill up early.

Question

How should I get to the venue?

Answer

The closest major airport is the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA), about an hour and forty minutes from the venue by car. There is no public transportation to the venue, but we are considering hiring a bus/van service if there is interest. There is plenty of parking at the venue.

Question

What Should I Wear to the Ceremony?

Answer

Fun summer cocktail attire. We'll be in a wooded, shady area so feel free to wear flats or a sturdy block heel. Summer in the PNW is warm and dry, usually around 75 or 80 during the day and dropping to the 50s at night. Vibes are flowy, colorful, forest and whimsy, and when it doubt, feel free to fall more on the casual side.

Question

What else should I pack?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will be summery cocktail attire, but the rest of the weekend will be casual with opportunities to hike, swim, and relax around the campfire. Most of the cabins at the venue have hot tubs, and even if you're not staying at the venue we'll have hot tubs available to use. We hope to have a fun and casual weekend with our family and friends.

Question

How do I get to Mount Rainier National Park?

Answer

The venue is outside the Park by about a mile. You may walk to the Park entrance but it will be difficult to get to many famous sights without a vehicle. Mount Rainier National Park is requiring reservations in advance for touring the Park this summer. If you want to enter the Park, please reserve your ticket on May 1, 2024 through this website: https://www.recreation.gov/timed-entry/10101917 One reservation is required per car and it costs $2 to make the reservation. There are limited number of reservations allowed per day. You must have made an account through Recreation.gov to make a reservation. The Park is enforcing the reservation system from 7am-3pm, so if you want to enter the park before or after this window, you don't need a reservation. You must also pay per vehicle to enter the Park, even with a reservation. It's $30 per car, unless you have an American the Beautiful Pass.
