After a friendly push from Yucy's girlfriend to focus on personal life just as much as one's career, Yucy tried online dating. Yucy and Austin met in the winter of 2019 online and chatted for a bit. Austin was impressed by how beautiful Yucy is. He’ll never forget the picture he saw of Yucy in a beautiful red dress at a Yankees game. They talked about fat animals and how cute they are.   Their first dinner date was a success. Yucy agreed to let Austin take her out again and a few days later he asked her to go bowling. Things were getting serious very quickly. A few games of bowling turned into a hot pot dinner and a midnight Adam Sandler movie at the cinema. After that, they went on date after date and very naturally realized how their family values, faith, lifestyles, hobbies, and dreams were aligned!   On January 14, 2020, on a karaoke date, Austin asked Yucy: Can you be my girlfriend? Yucy was so happy so she cried. They started dating seriously.   Then Yucy went back to China to celebrate the chinese new year, and Austin went to Honduras to help his brother to build his house. Then Covid hit.    Yucy almost wasn’t able return to New York. Her return planes were cancelled one after another. She was very lucky to make it back to New York after waiting all night in an airport and catching one of the last flights possible out of China.   After that, they cherished each other more, and got closer and closer! During the quarantine, they spent lots of quality time together, and realized they’ve found the life partner they’ve always wanted and needed.
