Cancun International Airport (CUN)

Cancun International Airport (CUN) is the nearest airport to the resort. The airport is approximately 25 minutes from the resort by car. It's got a few priority pass lounges too! US Citizens do NOT need a visa to enter Mexico - just remember to bring your passport to get stamped at Customs. Also remember to bring a pen to help fill out forms!

Roundtrip Transportation from Airport to Hotel

We have traveled to Cancun together a whopping 7 times since we first met, and each time we use USA Transfers to book round-trip transportation to and from the Hotel. The shuttle is safe, reliable, flat-rate, and paid in USD. If you can coordinate with friends to share the same shuttle it will be even more savings all around. When you land, they will be waiting for you outside with your name on a list, ready to go! And you avoid all the madness outside the airport of trying to get a ride. The resort, Dreams Vista Cancun Golf & Spa Resort, is a brand new (as of 2020) all-inclusive beachside resort with ultra-modern decor and surroundings. All rooms has oceanfront views and the wedding venues are sure to impress! As this is a destination wedding, we highly encourage our guests to stay with us at the resort. Room Block

There is no room block! For this second-go-around, to avoid all the hassles, we decided to keep it casual and just give our guests the flexibility of booking their own travel accommodation. We think this gives everyone optimal flexibility to make (and if necessary, adjust) their plans without having to deal with the room block issues. Go ahead and use your favorite booking agent (expedia, priceline) or book directly with the hotel, whatever makes sense for you! COVID-19

Cancun has fortunately remained a bastion of relative safety amidst a world of COVID. US citizens do NOT need any kind of COVID test to enter Mexico. All you need is your passport. US Citizens, at this time, still require a negative COVID test prior to entry back home to the US. The Hotel can facilitate this, or you can even use a at-home antigen self-test kit which can be purchased before departing. We will supply goodie bags with KN95 masks. We request that you wear your mask (within reason) when possible in large group settings.
