Question

Answer

Cocktail attire. Wear Cocktail Dresses, Dressy Jumpsuits, Suit or Jacket, dress shirt with a tie is suggested and Slacks. We would like all children and teens to wear an accent color in Sage Green. We are expecting a good sized group and are hoping a common color for them with make some great photos.

Question

Are kids allowed?

Answer

We know that a lot of our friends and family have children, so we are trying to make this wedding as kid-friendly as possible. We will have a separate kid friendly dinner and special activities for them. We would like all children and teens to wear an accent color in Sage Green

Question

What type of food and drink will be served during the cocktail hour and reception?

Answer

We’ll be serving light snacks during cocktail hour, followed by a delicious dinner, and of course dessert. Children will be given a special dinner.

Question

I have dietary restrictions, what’s the best way to communicate that with you?

Answer

We definitely want to make sure you enjoy your time and meal on our wedding day, please let us know when you RSVP about your dietary needs. At this time, we are avoiding shrimp and peanuts.

Question

What is the bar situation?

Answer

We will be serving beer, wine, and frozen margaritas.

Question

Are you registered? Where should we ship your gift?

Answer

We are so grateful to be able to share our wedding celebration with our friends and family, and your presence is truly the most meaningful gift we could ask for. Because we have spent the last few years building a home together, we would like everyone to donate to our Honeymoon fund. You may drop off a card at the reception or you can Zelle us. You can use Alex's cellphone number for Zelle.

Question

Can I have a plus one?

Answer

We are at capacity with our venue which means we are sadly unable to accommodate additional guests. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. If you have any questions, please reach out.

Question

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

We do not have a hotel block. If you need a hotel near the venue, there are 3 areas that were recommended to us by the wedding venue. Vintage Park (20 minutes west of the venue). Springwoods Village (20 minutes north east of the venue). The Woodlands (20-25 minutes north east of the venue) An Airbnb is always an option if you know you will be traveling with a large group or have an extended stay. You can put 77090 for the city if you want to be by the venue. You could also put Copperfield Place, which is a neighborhood near where we live, so you can enjoy some of the restaurants we recommended.

Question

Will transportation be provided? Is there easy parking at the venue?

Answer

No, transportation will not be provided. The venue has plenty of parking. We will ask the venue to have signage posted.

Question

What is the weather going to be like? What happens if the weather is bad?

Answer

The average temperature in Houston in March for a typical day ranges from a high of 74°F (23°C) to a low of 54°F (12°C). Of course, we can’t guarantee anything. Keep an eye on the weather here in the days leading up to the wedding. In case of rain, the ceremony will be moved indoors.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors. The Cocktail hour and reception will be indoors. We will have outdoor activities during the cocktail hour and reception.

Question

Where do I mail the RSVP? When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Everything is digital! RSVP on this website. Please RSVP by the deadline of February 10th, 2025.

Question

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

Answer

Houston traffic can be a little unpredictable. If you are staying near the venue, then we recommend getting to the venue 20-30 minutes before the ceremony. The further you are from the venue, please plan for extra time.

Question

What time will your wedding reception end?

Answer

The reception is currently scheduled to end at 10pm. We will let everyone know if this changes.

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

We love photos! We do ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony, we’d like that time to be unplugged. For the rest of the wedding, we encourage guests to post pictures. We've created a special Instagram account for the wedding. Follow us @yrene_alex_wedding2025 for special updates.
