It was a cold January afternoon and Alex walked into the coffee shop. It was a cute coffee shop (Land of a Thousand Hills Coffee), but neither Alex or Yrene had ever been there before. Alex doesn’t drink coffee, but it was near to where he lived. For Yrene, it was near a friend’s house who she was planning on visiting after the date. They talked for four hours! Alex tried to be romantic by holding Yrene’s hand, but his hands were too cold. They will be celebrating three years since that first date in January. It has now become a tradition for them to go back to this same coffee shop on this anniversary.
