Are you looking for a cute town that is near to where the wedding will be and provides lots of fun? Look no further! Golden, CO is a super quaint, western-y town right on a river. We would recommend renting inner tubes (or just picking some up from a store) and going for a float, picnicking in one of the town parks, and walking around to see the stores.
This place is whack, in the best ways! It's a mix of a museum and a playground, but incredibly trippy. You will get lost. We recommend buying a "Q Pass" when you go in, which lets you interact more with the story instead of wandering aimlessly. It's a crazy experience.
One of our favorite restaurants located closer to where we live! If you are in the area, stop by for some awesome vegan grub. The vibes are immaculate.
Go white water rafting! This is super fun, you can choose your difficulty level, and you will see the beauty of Idaho Springs from the creek!
Another CUTE mountain town! Also right on a river. They have great pizza, coffee, and great places to walk around. The town of Evergreen also has interactive sculptures all around that you can tour, and a number to call that will explain them all to you.

Gorgeous lake and short drive to get there! We recommend going stargazing here if you are wanting a gorgeous sight...it is seriously unreal.
