Should I be concerned about the altitude and possible altitude sickness?

Answer

Colorado's altitude is an animal of its own and we want you to feel amazing at our celebration. Altitude sickness is real. Please hydrate more than normal, go easy on alcohol, and wear sunblock. Altitude worsens the side effects of alcohol and alcohol can worsen altitude sickness. Be mindful and do your research to ensure you have an amazing experience here vs being stuck in a hotel room sick. What about the weather and conditions in Colorado?

Answer

Colorado has finicky weather. We advise that you review weather conditions prior to traveling in an effort to pack the appropriate layers. Wunderground is a wonderful app for accurate weather information specific to Sedalia, the city our venue is in.

Can I RSVP online or do I have to mail in an RSVP card?

Online, please see your invitation for details.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

We will be celebrating both inside and outside, weather permitting. Please be aware Colorado weather changes quickly so check weather conditions prior. Layers are highly encouraged.

Is there parking available near your wedding venue(s)?

Answer

There is ample self-parking available at Sanctuary. We will also have complimentary valet for guests who decide to drive themselves.

Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel and venue?

Answer

Roundtrip transportation will be provided to our wedding guests staying at The Inverness Hotel. Pick-up and drop-off times will be communicated as we get closer to the wedding date.

Wedding Dress Code FAQs

Answer

We ask that you wear semi-formal attire For women: Cocktail Dresses, Mid or Long Length Dresses/Dressy Separates For Men: Suit and Tie Please note that the venue does not permit blue jeans or sneakers.

Any colors I should avoid as a guest?

Answer

I feel it goes without saying, but please don't wear white.

Can I bring a Plus-One?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to limited space, we simply can't allow for all of our guests to bring a guest of their own. Plus-ones are therefore by invitation only. Thank you for your understanding.

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

Due to capacity limits at our venue, the only children at our wedding ceremony are those in the wedding party and specified family. Children 5 and younger will not be permitted at the wedding and/or reception.

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?

Answer

We understand that there are many guests with dietary restrictions. We will kindly ask that those details are communicated to us when RSVPing in an effort for us to properly relay those details to the staff at our venue.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

We ask that during the ceremony you keep your phone put away. We have an amazing photographer that will capture our day. We'd love to see you in the pictures enjoying the ceremony rather than with a phone raised up. Please respect this special moment in our lives.

Where will wedding updates be posted?

Answer

Updates will be posted to the website. However, if there are last minute updates we will email, text, or call to ensure you have it.
