With Michael being Jewish and Keirstin being Lutheran (Christian), our wedding ceremony will beautifully blend traditions from both faiths. Guests will come together to witness meaningful rituals and customs from both the Jewish and Lutheran traditions reflecting the unique union of our backgrounds. We're looking forward to sharing this special moment in our lives with you.
Through a friend, a visit to New York, and numerous attempts to connect, they finally went on a date. In 2014, Keirstin made a spontaneous short trip to New York to meet someone. One night, Keirstin and Michael were briefly introduced. What no one knew at the time was that Michael couldn't take his eyes off Keirstin. After some time, Michael friended Keirstin on Facebook. She remembered Michael but, given their brief interaction, she wasn't sure why he wanted to connect. Nevertheless, she found him attractive and a nice guy, so she accepted his friend request. When Michael's parents moved to Colorado in 2015, he would visit, usually around the holidays, and try to meet up with Keirstin. However, unbeknownst to him, she had moved back to Nebraska and would only visit Colorado for short stays around the holidays to see her parents. Their exchanges were brief, and they never managed to meet. Michael moved to Colorado in 2018, but they still couldn't find time to get together, even during Keirstin's non-holiday visits. Years passed, and Keirstin finally moved back to Colorado in early 2022. Later that year, Michael discovered Keirstin was back and single, so he decided to pursue her more persistently. They talked for months before finally going on a date on February 3, 2023. That night, they couldn't keep their eyes off each other and didn't want the evening to end. They had dinner and then walked around in the cold until they found a bench. They sat there for hours, talking, laughing, holding hands, and even kissing. From that moment on, they knew they had found something extraordinary, and they didn't want to be apart.
