One of our favorite neighborhood lunch spots in Austin for the best sandwiches and pizza by the slice. Make sure you save room for a slice of the colossal chocolate cake.
Fonda San Miguel
One of the oldest and most beautiful restaurants in Austin, this is our favorite spot to visit when we are wanting to eat something special. The cochinita pibil is stellar.
Jewboy Burgers
Jewboy Burgers is one of our favorite places to eat. Order a Yenta, a Picadillo Burrito, and a Coney Dog. There is ample patio seating. Jewboy Subs is also fantastic. Say hi to Mo for us!

La Barbecue
The wait here isn't as long as the 4 hour wait at Franklin, but the barbecue is equally stellar. Order the beef rib and make sure you bring people to share with.
Micklethwait Craft Meats
The barbecue at Micklethwait is good but the sides are even better! Make sure you get the jalepeño cheese grits and the mac and cheese.
Magnolia Cafe
Open 24 hours, this is the best place to grab a bite to eat at 2 AM after all that two-steppin. We recommend the mag mud, flaco tacos, and the prima dora.
Bar Peached
Peached Tortilla may be taking care of our catering, but it doesn't mean you shouldn't swing by one of their locations. Bar Peached is their newest concept on West 6th. Get the cheese corn, chili crab toast, and the fried fish. OH, you can't forget about the BINGSU!
Emmer & Rye
Emmer and Rye is where you go when you want something super special. Don't forget to try dishes from the dimsum cart.
The White Horse
Get your two-step on and grab a taco from Bomb Tacos.
The Liberty
One of our favorite dive bars that also houses East Side King. Get yourself some beer and beet fries.

Half Step is all about that fancy cocktail. Don't forget to stop at Little Lucy's for some donuts.

Torchy's has locations across town. Take your pick. Always order the queso and your Trailer Park trashy.

Make your way to South Congress and grab a cup of coffee and a pastry from this adorable spot.
Mount Bonnell
Climb a few steps and you can see the most beautiful view of Austin. If you're feeling thirsty, head to Dry Creek Cafe and Boat Dock for the diviest dive bar experience. Beer only. Cash only. No air conditioning, but you can pick your own coozy!
