We’d love to know if you can make it (we hope you can!). Please RSVP by October 6th. You can RSVP on our website.
We are asking that all guests attending have both doses of the vaccine. The majority of our wedding celebration will be outdoors, weather permitting. The doors/windows of the reception hall at The Grand Lady fold out completely for air flow. Plenty of hand sanitizer will be available throughout the venue. Masks are encouraged and welcome!
Our wedding ceremony and reception will be taking place at The Grand Lady, a new venue just outside of Austin. It's about a 30 minute drive from Central Austin. Because Ubers/Lyfts are scarce around the venue, we are providing shuttle services to and from the venue.
Weather permitting, our ceremony will be outdoors. Our reception will be indoors in the reception hall. The doors will be open for ventilation.
We want you to be able to really enjoy our wedding day and feel truly present and in the moment with us. We ask our guests not to use their cameras, phones, or other mobile devices during our ceremony. Our amazing friends Jason and Ela are flying all the way from Chicago to capture our special day — and we're inviting each of you to sit back, relax, and enjoy our ceremony. Photos welcome at our plugged-in reception!
The Pyebaek is a traditional Korean greeting ceremony. Back in the day, the bride never got a chance to meet her future in-laws (also groom!) before the wedding. The Pyebaek ceremony is when the bride meets her in-laws for the first time, and when the in-laws accept the bride as a member of their family. We have decided to have a Pyebaek ceremony to honor and share this beautiful Korean tradition with our friends and family.
Formal Attire: floor-length gowns, fancy cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, dark suits, etc. There is a lot of gravel at the venue, so choose your shoes accordingly!
We are only having invited guests and invited plus-ones attend. We appreciate your understanding!
Our wedding will be adult-only, with the exception of children in the wedding party or children who are relatives of the Bride and Groom. Thank you!
We recommend that you arrive a half-hour before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled! Our ceremony will begin at 3:30 pm.
We are providing a shuttle for guests from the Domain to and from the venue. Ubers are hard to come by. If you would like to Uber, We HIGHLY recommend that you schedule your it ahead of time to avoid a 45 min wait time. Real time Uber hailing is not recommended since WiFi signal is poor. Parking is limited at The Grand Lady. Parking on grass or amid trees and plantings is strictly prohibited. Note: Do NOT park on areas that do not have gravel on them. The soil is clay and when wet, you will SINK!
We have reserved a block of rooms at the Westin and Aloft in the Domain at $149/night. We recommend staying in the Domain as it is within walking distance of many wonderful restaurants, bars, coffeeshops, and anything else you might need! We will also be providing a shuttle to the venue from the Domain.
We are providing a shuttle to the venue from The Domain. Parking at our venue is limited and since the venue is in a rural area where Ubers/Lyfts are scarce, we encourage our guests to take advantage of the shuttle!
Yes! If you would like a vegan/vegetarian/gluten-free entree, please make a note in your RSVP.
