Wedding Party

Chesney Ellison

Maid of Honor

My sister is the embodiment of selflessness and kindness. She has been my constant support through every season of life, especially during my pregnancy, labor, and those early postpartum days. She helped me navigate the beautiful chaos of motherhood with so much love and wisdom, and I’ll never be able to thank her enough for that. From the time we were kids, she’s always taken care of me in her own special way. She would fix my hair, pulling and tugging just a little rough so I wouldn’t be tender-headed like her—a small act that showed how much she wanted better for me, even in the tiniest details. That’s just who she is—always thinking of others and giving her whole heart to the people she loves. We spent countless hours as kids playing “school,” where she was always the teacher and I was always her student. It’s so special to see her now, living out her dream as a teacher and absolutely rocking it. She’s just as passionate, dedicated, and caring in her classroom as she’s always been with me. Having her by my side as my Maid of Honor means the world to me. She’s more than my sister—she’s my lifelong role model, my biggest cheerleader, and my dearest friend. I couldn’t imagine this day or my life without her.

Brandon Hernandez

Best Man

Brandon is my older brother, and if you know him, you know he’s the biggest jokester around. He rarely takes anything seriously and is always ready with a sarcastic comment or perfectly timed one-liner. But behind all the jokes, he’s one of the hardest-working, most dependable people I know. Growing up, he was the guy who gave me a hard time—but also the one who had my back when it counted. He’s been a constant in my life through every stage, and while he may not be the go-to for heartfelt advice, he’ll always make you laugh when you need it most. Having him as my best man just makes sense—there’s no one else I’d rather have standing next to me, giving me a hard time on one of the most important days of my life.

Brianna Hernandez

Matron of Honor

Brianna is my future sister-in-law, but honestly, she’s felt like family from the very beginning. She’s my forever shopping buddy, caffeine co-pilot, and the one who’s always down for whatever—whether it’s a spontaneous retail therapy or just hanging out doing nothing. We do everything together, and she’s been there for me through so many of life’s big and small moments. One of the things I love most about Brianna is the way she supports me as a mom. She loves Grayson like he’s her own and is always jumping in to help—without ever needing to be asked. She’s there for the big milestones and the little everyday moments that matter just as much. I’m so thankful to have her not only as my matron of honor but as someone I know I can count on for life.

Andrew Hernandez

Groomsman

Andrew is my older brother, and growing up, he was always the one pushing me to be better. Whether it was sports, life advice, or just sibling rivalry. He’s a great dad, a hard worker, and someone you can count on to be upfront and honest, no matter the situation. We’ve always bonded over sports—talking smack about who’s better and proving it on the court from time to time. He’s got that competitive edge, and it’s something I’ve always respected about him. Andrew is dependable and real and will always speak his mind. I’m glad to have him standing by my side on one of the biggest days of my life.

Kortnie Sorrells

Bridesmaid

Kortnie may not be the friend I’ve known the longest, but she’s been one of the truest and most beautiful gifts in my life. She’s walked with me through so many seasons—through hard days, postpartum, long-distance friendship, and everything in between. She’s been a constant light, showing up with grace, encouragement, and love when I’ve needed it most. She’s an incredible friend to me, a sweet blessing to Grayson, and someone who shines Jesus so brightly it makes you want to draw closer, too. Words fall short when I try to describe what she means to me, but I am beyond thankful for her heart, her friendship, and her presence in my life and on this special day.

Jeffery Kay

Groomsman

Jeffrey isn’t just my groomsman—he’s my best friend and has been for years. We’ve been tight since middle school, but college brought us even closer when we roomed together and he got a front-row seat to my relationship with Karlee. Over the years, we’ve shared endless memories: fishing, hunting, playing sports, and staying up until 2 a.m. playing Monopoly—where Jeffery somehow always managed to cheat (and somehow always got caught). What sets Jeffrey apart is the kind of person he is. He’s hardworking, dependable, and would give the shirt off his back for the people he cares about. He’s not just a great friend to me but to Karlee as well, constantly checking in on us and being the best addition “uncle” to Grayson. Funny, goofy, and incredibly loyal, Jeffrey is more like family, and I’m grateful to have him standing with me on such an important day.

Madison Kwiatkowski

Bridesmaid

Madison and I clicked from the very beginning—like, instant bestie status the moment she came into our lives. She has the sweetest heart and the kind of calm, patient energy that somehow balances out my chaos (which is truly a gift in itself). She has the most calming presence, and a way of making everyone feel loved and seen. She’s not just thoughtful—she’s deeply genuine, always showing up for the people she cares about in the most quiet, beautiful ways. Every Friday night, you can find her at our house—whether we’re doing something fun or just sitting around in comfy clothes, talking about life. It’s become one of my favorite traditions, and honestly, it wouldn’t feel right without her there. Madison is the kind of friend everyone hopes to have in their life—steady, loyal, easy to laugh with, and full of grace. I’m so thankful for the bond we’ve built and so honored to have her standing with me on such a meaningful day.

McCray Fails

Groomsman

McCray is Karlee’s brother, but over the years, he’s become one of my closest friends. We’ve spent countless hours hunting together, cracking jokes at family events, and catching up almost every day. We’re always on the same page, especially when it comes to humor, and we’ve got a solid bond that just makes sense. He’s a regular at our house—raiding the pantry or asking Karlee, “What’s for dinner?” Now that he has his own place, we try to switch off hosting, but it’s always a good time when he’s around. McCray’s sense of humor, loyalty, and easygoing attitude make him someone I’m proud to have by my side on our wedding day.

Jaci Wolcik

Bridesmaid

Jaci is my longest-standing friend—our story goes all the way back to daycare days. We spent so many afternoons together growing up, walking to our moms’ school after class (both of them being teachers), laughing, playing, and building the kind of bond that only time can create. She’s the kind of friend who shows up—always. Supportive, steady, and full of this incredible presence that radiates pure joy. We stayed close all through school, and though life pulled us in different directions for a little while after, nothing ever changed between us. We reconnected toward the end of college, and it was like no time had passed at all. Now we talk every single day, and I honestly don’t know what I’d do without her. I’m so thankful for a friendship that’s spanned decades, seasons, and everything in between—and I’m beyond happy she’ll be standing with me on such a special day.

Harrison Williams

Groomsman

Harrison has been my friend since middle school, and he’s one of the longest-standing friendships I’ve had. Back in high school, it was always the four of us—Harrison, Cody, Clay, and me. If you saw one of us, the rest weren’t far behind. Whether it was football games, hanging out, or Harrison’s mom calling us all by jersey numbers for a photo, we were always together. Even though life keeps us busy, Harrison has always been there when it matters. He’s been a great friend to me and has supported Karlee and me from the very beginning. I’m proud to have him standing with me on such an important day.

Hope Blackwell

Bridesmaid

Hope and I have been friends for as long as I can remember, and she has been such a constant in my life. We’ve grown up together, played every sport imaginable side by side, and supported each other through every win and loss, both on and off the field. Our college years brought plenty of fun memories, as we partied and went through our little wild phase together, always knowing we had each other to lean on. Now, we’re navigating the beautiful and sometimes chaotic journey of motherhood together, and it’s such a blessing to have her by my side in this season too. Hope just gets it—she’s relatable, never judgmental, and always there to listen or laugh with me. Her friendship has been one of the greatest gifts in my life, and I’m so grateful she’ll be standing by my side on one of the most important days of my life.

Christian Petrov

Groomsman

Christian is one of those rare guys who’s funny without even trying. We met back in college and hit it off right away, bonding over our love of hunting, golf, and a good laugh. Whether we’re out in the woods, on the course, or just hanging out, Christian’s the guy who keeps everyone laughing with his laid-back vibe and well-timed jokes. Beyond being a big jokester, he’s also one of the most dependable and loyal people I know—the kind of friend you can always count on. Having him by my side on this day is a no-brainer, and I can’t wait to celebrate with him.

Emily Newlon

Bridesmaid

Emily and I met at college orientation and instantly clicked—freshman year we were inseparable. Somewhere around sophomore year, life got busy and we drifted a bit, but by junior year we found ourselves in a ton of the same classes and picked up right where we left off, like no time had passed at all. We survived countless study sessions, shared the struggle of tough business classes, and were there for each other through it all—right up to graduation. She’s seen my relationship with Mark grow and strengthen, especially through some of the toughest challenges, and she’s always been a steady, supportive friend through it all. Emily is the kind of friend who doesn’t need constant communication to stay close—she’s what I call a “low-maintenance, high-quality” friendship. No matter how much time passes, the connection is always there, and I’m so thankful to have her in my life and by my side on this special day.

Taylor Stutts

Groomsman

Taylor and I have been friends since high school, but we really became close during our time at Sam Houston State University. Back then, Taylor, Jeffrey, and I all roomed together, and let me tell you—those were some wild times. From endless game nights and college football games to nights out, hunting trips, and everything in between, we made memories that will last a lifetime. Taylor’s the kind of guy who’s always up for a good laugh—goofy as can be—but he’s also one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet, with a big heart to match. He’s been a solid friend through every stage of life, and I’m grateful to have him by my side for this one.
