We first met in sixth grade art class when Mark’s family moved to Tarkington. We quickly became each other’s first boyfriend and girlfriend, and although we went our separate ways for a while, we reconnected junior year and have been inseparable ever since. We still remember exactly what the other was wearing the first day we met—such a special memory that’s stayed with us. Since then, we’ve shared so many milestones. We graduated high school together, applied to college together, and spent four years navigating college life side by side. In our sophomore year, we moved into our first place together. It wasn’t the fanciest, but it was ours, and it felt perfect because we had each other. We’ve weathered challenges, celebrated achievements, and grown stronger through it all. Our greatest joy came when we became parents. Grayson has brought more happiness to our lives than we ever imagined. He reminds us every day how perfectly we were created for each other, and being his parents has been the most rewarding part of our journey. We love spending time together as a family, trying new places, going to concerts, and enjoying sporting events, but no matter what we’re doing, we’re happiest in each other’s company. After all these years of love, growth, and adventure, we’re excited to make our commitment official and celebrate with God, our family, and our closest friends. This is just the beginning of a lifetime of love, laughter, and cherished memories.
