The first time we met was at our previous jobs when Khizer walked into Tina's office to get a sharpie from the admin. He thought she was cute and she thought he was an arrogant guy who walked around like he owned the place. The two of us would see each other at work but never exchanged any words until one fine day a mutual co-worker decided to grab lunch with another co-worker who was using Khizer's office for a week. At that time Tina mentioned H-Mart to Khizer who loved Korean food from his time in Philadelphia. That's when our friendship started and over the months we became more than friends, discovering our mutual interests in food and travelling. We haven't looked back since and are eagerly looking forward to the next part of our fun journey.

The proposal involved quite a few parties including my business partner who had to pick up the diamond in my absence and almost missed the FedEx delivery truck. Since I was leaving town he had to hide the diamond underneath my pillow in my bedroom to make sure it was kept safe. From there I found a custom jeweler who handcrafted the setting but I was too paranoid about the fitting so I had Tina go in and try the 3-D printed version before finalizing the ring setting. I picked Tina up from the airport while she was visiting Houston from Orlando on August 12th 2016. I was in my gym clothes and wanted to take her home to propose and lied that I didn't feel safe taking her to dinner with her luggage in the trunk as it could be unsafe. Once home, I told her to walk into my living room in the apartment where I had arranged a bunch of teddy bears that had strong emotional meaning to her including one given to her by her mom. In the lap of that teddy bear was a box with the ring. It was a magical moment that we celebrated with wine, pizza and ice cream which is our unique way of celebrating the joyous moments of our lives.

We're very excited to be hosting you guys at our big day on March 31st 2018. We've had a wonderful journey so far and can't wait for what lies ahead. Get ready for some amazing food which includes a buffet with over 100 different selections, phenomenal ambiance and a great location close to many great attractions in Seoul. We've also populated the 'Things To Do' tab with all the attractions in Seoul so all those coming from out of town can experience the beautiful Korean culture.
