Driving Yakima is a lovely drive from nearby cities like Seattle, Spokane, and Portland. If you’re flying into Seattle, we highly recommend renting a car for the drive over. Getting Around & Lodging Rental cars are available at both airports, and ride-share services are available in Yakima. Booking is also available through Airbnb, and VRBO.

The most convenient airport is the Yakima Air Terminal (YKM). It’s a small, easy airport with quick connections through Seattle and is the closest option to our wedding events. Another great option is flying into Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA). From there, it’s about a 2.5–3 hour scenic drive to Yakima through beautiful central Washington. This option usually offers more flight choices and flexible pricing.
