It was God’s plan when Yoneisy and Willie both installed the Tinder app to their phones, only to come across each other’s profiles and swipe right! They began messaging each other, video chatting, and having late night phone calls. Even without seeing each other in person for over a month since swiping right, they were falling fast and falling hard for each other!
While in Salt Lake City, Utah, Willie and Yoneisy rode on a ski lift up to the top of Bald Mountain. Willie was anxious to find the perfect spot, and Yoneisy was hopeful of a proposal but wasn’t completely sure if it was going to happen just yet. After finding the most perfect spot with breathtaking views of the lake, winding roads, and other mountains, Willie popped the question! 22 days later, on July 22nd, 2019, they said “I Do” in North Ridgeville City Hall!
9 months after getting married, Willie and Yoneisy welcomed a beautiful baby girl. Laila Williams was born on March 27th, 2020, just days after the world shut down due to Covid-19. Two years later, they welcomed another beautiful baby girl. Jordyn Williams was born on May 11th, 2022, just one day before Yoneisy's birthday! A note from the Bride and Groom: Our children, undoubtedly, stand as a testament to the grace and love bestowed upon us by God. Their presence in our lives has not only brought immeasurable joy and laughter, but has also been a source of strength for our marriage. It is truly remarkable how their innocence and boundless energy have deepened the connection between us, creating a stronger, more resilient foundation. As we navigate the beautiful chaos of parenthood, we are reminded of the profound love that God has showered upon our family. The challenges we face and the triumphs we celebrate together serve as constant reminders of His unwavering presence in our lives. Our journey as parents has not only strengthened our commitment to each other but has also deepened our love for God. Through the ups and downs, we've found solace and guidance in our faith, and it is our shared devotion that continues to sustain and uplift us. In the midst of the everyday hustle, let us pause and give thanks for the precious gifts we have been entrusted with. Our children are not just a blessing; they are a reflection of the divine love that binds us together as a family. May our home continue to be filled with love, laughter, and the grace of God.
