Kailua Kona is on the West side of the Big Island. You will need transportation to and from the airport and other destinations. For reference, the ceremony site is located 20 minutes from the airport. The reception site is located 30 minutes from the airport.

Kona Airport (KOA)

Kona Airport will be the best airport to fly into. First time visitors: There is no jet bridge, so you will walk off/on the plane in Kona.
