Where is the wedding/reception

Answer

Both the wedding ceremony and reception will be held inside the Grand Marquis in Old Bridge, New Jersey. The reception will include an optional outside area. Please bring necessary items for your comfort level of these environments.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We are asking all guests to be seated by 11:15am to avoid any ceremony interruptions.

Are kids allowed?

Answer

We love kids--we really do. But we want our wedding to be your time off! We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the children at home so you can celebrate with us. The only children that will be allowed are those in the wedding party and family members.

Are plus ones allowed?

Answer

While we would have liked to accommodate everyone, attendance capacity is limited and reserved for the named guest(s) on the invitation only. We have arranged for the wedding ceremony to be livestreamed in real-time and the reception will be recorded for future viewing at a later date for those not in attendance.

Unplugged Ceremony?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony will be "unplugged" which means we ask that NO photography or videos be taken by guests during the ceremony. Please fully be present and enjoy this time with us as we commit our love to one another and let our amazing, professional photographer handle these pictures. As soon as the ceremony is over, please take as many photos, videos and snapchats as you wish! Be sure to use our wedding hashtag #BetterTateThanNever and our snapchat filter when posting and share special shots with us via email at ypgodfrey@gmail.com

When should I RSVP by?

We are asking all guest to RSVP by May 22nd so we may provide a proper headcount to the necessary vendors.

What should I wear?

Answer

Our wedding is an elegant them so dress as you see appropriate. We are sure you will all look amazing. We look forward to taking as many pictures as possible with you all.

What about Covid-19?

Answer

At this time we have decided to continue with our celebration. We will continue to monitor the pandemic closely and make necessary adjustments as needed. Currently masks are not required in the ceremony or our reception room. We respect all our guest decisions to choose to wear one or not and ask that all personal judgement be kept to yourself to keep positive energy on our joyous day. Masks are highly sug gested to be worn in common areas of the venue but it will not bee enforced. If you feel sick, have a fever or any other cold symptoms, please stay home and enjoy our livestream video. We also understand that our guests may not feel comfortable in this setting and we respect your decision to stay home too. You will be missed, but the safety and comfort level of all our guests is the most important thing to us.
