FAQs

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We'd love for our guests to join us in cocktail attire or semi-formal wear as we celebrate our special day! Since our wedding will be held outdoors, we recommend choosing footwear that is both stylish and comfortable. Chunky heels, wedges, dressy sandals, or flats are great options. We kindly suggest avoiding stiletto heels, as they may sink into the grass and uneven ground. Please leave the jeans, athletic wear, and overly casual attire at home. Think cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, slacks, button-down shirts, sport coats, and other semi-formal favorites. Most importantly, we want you to feel comfortable, confident, and ready to celebrate with us under the open sky!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Absolutely! We love your little ones and are happy to welcome children to our celebration. Since our wedding is taking place in a forest setting, we kindly ask parents and guardians to keep a close eye on their children throughout the day. We'd like to avoid any little adventurers wandering off and getting lost! We understand that kids will be kids, but during special moments such as the ceremony, first dance, speeches, and cake cutting, we ask that children be supervised and, if needed, briefly stepped away with if they become disruptive. This helps ensure that everyone can enjoy these meaningful moments together. Thank you for helping us create a fun, safe, and memorable day for all of our guests!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If your invitation includes a plus one, then absolutely! If a plus one was not included on your invitation, we kindly ask that you attend solo. Please note that children count toward your guest total, as each child requires a reserved seat and meal just like any other guest. If your children are included on your invitation, they are more than welcome to attend. If they are not listed, we ask that you please respect the guest count provided. We appreciate your understanding as we work within our venue capacity and planned seating arrangements.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! Parking is available on-site for both the ceremony and reception. As parking is somewhat limited, we kindly ask guests to be mindful when parking and avoid taking up more than one space whenever possible. This will help ensure there is enough room for everyone to comfortably attend and celebrate with us.

Question

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

Yes! Please see the travel page on our website for details of our hotel block. We understand that the hotel block may fill up and that not everyone will be able to stay at the same location. If that happens, don't worry there are several other hotel options conveniently located near the ceremony and reception venue. We encourage guests to book accommodations early to secure their preferred lodging.
