About Us
Our love story began in Hong Kong, back in February of 2016. Mark had just moved to Hong Kong and was visiting a new church. Sarah had recently joined the church as well, so both were eager to make new connections.
Some banter was exchanged back and forth throughout the service, and they became fast friends. For the next 2 years, they were in and out of each other's lives. They often surprised themselves and others with a unique ability of talking for uninterrupted hours on end. Mark's imminent departure from HK forced honest conversations about their connection. They prayed over it and ultimately decided to give this relationship a try.
A year of long distance and conversations about the future unexpectedly brought them even closer together. Then, when visiting HK in February of 2019, 3 years after they met in church, Mark popped the question at a memorable spot along the trail during a hike with Sarah and her family. And she said yes! And they lived happily ever after.
