Where is your wedding happening?

Answer

We will be getting married right on Lake Curlew! We are incredibly grateful for the generosity of our family that is opening up their space for us to have this beautiful moment in such a gorgeous place! The exact address and information are included in your invitation. It will be an outdoor wedding, so please plan accordingly.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We would appreciate all RSVP's to be submitted to us by June 19, 2025 so we can make all necessary preparations for your arrival!

Should I RSVP through the website, or can I just text you that I'll be there?

Answer

Please submit all RSVP's through the website! We have sent you an RSVP link and QR code with your invitation to our event. We both appreciate your willingness to be direct, but it would be more helpful for us to have all of this information sent through the link you are sent.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately, we aren't able to accommodate plus ones. We kindly ask that only the guests named on the invitations attend, as we have carefully allocated seats for each person and/or group. Thank you for understanding!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We are not inviting anyone under the age of thirteen to this wedding. While we love your little ones, we are not able to accommodate for children at the wedding. We thank you for your understanding.

What does parking look like?

Answer

Our venue has very generously opened up their property to us, including lots of room for parking! We will have people directing cars where to park for easiest convenience to assure minimal walking distances from the streets to the seats. If you have any needs and/or questions about accessibility, please include it in the "additional notes" section of your RSVP!

What is the photo and/or phone policy for the wedding?

Answer

We want you to be able to relax and have fun with us today! This in mind, we invite you to put down all your favorite devices and just be present in the moment with us. Please leave your camera in your bag (we've got photography covered!), and put your cell phone on mute (we promise they'll call back!). We're happy to share our professional wedding photos later, but the greatest gift you can give us today is just being fully here with us in this sacred and special moment. Also not so subtle shoutout. The photographer who will be capturing our special day is Ocean Simpson, and she is absolutely incredible. Is there a dress code?

Answer

Wearing clothes is a great start! Remember that this is an outdoor wedding in the middle of July, and this wedding will be happening, rain or shine! Planning accordingly is recommended. A quick note for those of you who wear heels: Heels are definitely allowed at our wedding! Please note that we'll be on grass, which can be a bit tricky, but the venue has assured us that not only are heels permitted, the effect of shoes with heels is actually beneficial for the grass. So feel free to wear your favorite pair!

What will alternate/accessible food options look like?

Answer

For the groom's sake, there better be options! In all seriousness, we are committed to making sure that there are options for any food allergies or dietary preferences! For your safety and ours, please list any allergies in the allergy section of your RSVP!

What is the policy on alcohol?

Answer

This will be a dry wedding. We are not planning on providing any alcohol for this event, and we ask you refrain from bringing alcohol to the wedding. We thank you for your understanding.

Do I have to bring a gift/get something off the registry/get you something in order to attend?

Answer

Absolutely not! You were invited to this wedding because we want you there to celebrate and support us and our marriage, so your attendance is the only gift we ask for :) However, we do have a listed registry if you are so inclined to give some form of physical, material, or financial gift for us as we start our lives together, and any generosity would certainly be appreciated!
