Melissa met Brooke while both were working as Labor and Delivery Nurses many years ago at Medical City Frisco. Even though one worked day shift and the other worked nights, the bond was immediate. The two have gone through job changes, sickness, heartbreak, children's birthdays and many summers side by side. Brooke is that one friend who ALWAYS shows up for you.

Melissa met Brenna at her most current job and the friendship was instantaneous. They work side by side almost every single day, arriving at 530 am as pre-operative nurses and this shared experience has bonded them in ways very few can relate to. The uncomplicated sense of loyalty and understanding has created an obvious lifelong connection.

Jenna and Melissa met in College Station in 2008 and became instant friends! They lived together in Austin, Texas, in their early twenties, and experienced some of the best adventures together. Even after 16 years, children, marriage, and long distance, their friendship remains as strong as ever.

The relationship between Makayla and Melissa seemed to come at the most perfect time in both of their lives. It is more than a stepmother and daughter bond, but two friends who although are very different in age, are able to relate through a shared experience of parental divorce early in life. The bride feels so lucky to have the opportunity to help Makayla navigate her teenage years. They share a love of Taylor Swift, reading and eating Makayla's famous chocolate cookies.

Olivia Monroe is everything a mother could hope to have in a daughter. A light so bright in the bride's life it cannot accurately be defined. Watching Olivia grow into the sweet and compassionate girl she is today has been the greatest joy of Melissa’s life. The majority of the last eight years, it was just Olivia and and mom against the world, but there was always a constant wish to have siblings of her own, specifically a sister. The joining of Josh and Melissa's family has not only given Olivia three siblings but three lifelong friends.

Aubrey Lynn Yusten

Aubrey is, without a doubt, the firecracker of the Yusten household. She exudes an energetic spirit that is almost contagious. Aubrey not only accepted Olivia and Melissa into her heart right away, but even gave up half of her room. The relationship between Aubrey and Olivia is a joy to watch and we know it will continue to flourish through all of life's big and little moments.

One of the most intelligent people I know. If you don't know the meaning of something, he's always a phone call away. Be prepared for that phone call to become a four-hour conversation covering everything from aliens to the Old Testament.
