Fours years apart in age as sisters & we fight like cats & dogs. But the greatest thing with us is that we never stay mad at one another. It could be the next day or hour and we’re back to normal! Tho she is younger, I often times feel like we switch roles. I love her to pieces; Nhi knos how to keep me in check. Between the both of us she is the scholarly one, & for that I am a VERY proud big sis (always enjoyed bragging about her)! On a serious note, having Nhi as my little sister is a blessing to my heart, I honestly cannot live without her! Mom always told us as kids how we will miss each other terribly one day every time we fought. And Mom was right.. ever since Nhi left for college and is now 'adulting' in the real world (aka Chicago).. I stay missing my sister, my best friend!
Ann

Ann & I grew up together as bFFs & remain close to since. We got into plenty of mischief & unforgettable adventures as kids; there was never a dull moment when we were together. From hide -n- seeks, to our PG version Barbie soap operas, to cat-walks in our ‘fashion shows’ & kicking each other’s butts during our WWF wrestling matches! A favorite moment we shared were of us randomly laughing uncontrollablyat dinner time, laughed so hard to the point of getting ourselves separated. Even after being placed in corners, we still laughed hysterically. We were absolutely obnoxious together! I will forever have fond memories of our childhood. Ann is that one rare friend that you could catch up with after a period of time & still be that same sweet, humble soul that you have known since day one.

It did not take long to connect with my Nimol; she and I have been besties for nearly a decade! We started off as coworkers and it quickly evolved into a lasting friendship. She is outgoing, mod, charming and always fancy with a glass of wine. Nimol is a lively individual; she is always filled with laughter and great energy. Whether it be us shopping together like we are queens or dining out each time like a grand feast, she and I always have a good time together. A trait of Nimol's that I admire much is that she will give it to you like it is. A true friend will tell you the bitter truth than a sweet lie.

Of all my close girlfriends, Tien is the the goofy gal. She appears delicate and modest but she has a robust, quirky personality. Tien has a big heart with a strong mindset. I have known Tien way back when her and Nhi (my sister) began kindergarten together. I practically watched Tien grow up along side with Nhi. As we all gotten older, Tien and I grew closer. She is like another little sister to me, only she is the sweeter and more tolerable one lol! JK Nhi :P
Dawn

Dawn is one of my down to earth, sweetest friend. She is like the girl next door, very kind & a tad shy (at first). We met through a mutual friend and I kid you not!... She had me feeling jealous because I thought she was really pretty (still is)! It had me all bothered initially and I even told Richie so! Lol Not to mention because she was really quiet, I even thought she was a bit of a snob haha! But of course that is clearly not her, not even an ounce. Dawn projects this warm, happy aura whenever you are around her. She never ceases to greet you with a bright smile and I’m thankful we ended up becoming great friends.

Oh Marie, my wild one! She is a tough girl but that is what makes her stand out. We have been good friends since high school, and even till this day... she takes me on a whirlwind trying to keep up with her unpredictable escapades at life. If you are up for some spontaneity and shenanigans, Marie is that girlfriend that would be down for the excitement. She can be quite a bubblehead but I love her for it!
Donavan
Best Man
Donavan & I have been friends since the 7th grade. Although we're thousands of miles apart, we still connect as if we're next door neighbors. We have been to countless clubs and parties through the years when he was here on the East side. We rarely argued much over anything growing up. And when we did, it wasn't long until things were squashed. I'd always consider him to be my right-hand man especially when we were out scoping for chicks and going on 'dates' haha. Oh and lastly to mention, he showed me the ways to be a hookah head just out of high school. Regardless the distance, the priorities, and the changes through time, we could always connect as if nothing was missed. To this day, whenever I spark up a hookah session, or my fam makes some pancit, I'm thinking about you brother haha

Out of the several other good old friends I could've selected from, I chose Phi (the youngest of the groomsmen; he's legal ladies lol) -- because he's genuine. While he has much growing up to do and become the Man he one day will represent greatly, Phi reminds me the VALUE & CLOSENESS OF FAMILY. I know I know, this kid is spoiled rotten.. But this is all part of growing up (being the youngest) right? Phi is well rounded in terms of him being ambitious, caring for family, and a bit a GQ for dress to impress; all a reminder of me growing up.. Although I was a heck of a lot wilder back in my day. Too bad he's not 21 for when I figure out what I'm gonna do for my Bachelor's outing. We'll need to get you a fake ID or something haha!
Mondo

Armando. Hmm, well he started off reserved and quiet as most people are meeting. But once we got to a common ground, I introduced him to electronic music and took him to his first rave several years ago. Fast forward to present day, and this dude is nothing but going to raves and festivals. If anything dealing with going to concerts, Mondo and I almost always go to a show together. He may get on my nerves sometimes, but all we need is that 'UNTZ' beat and a solid drop, and we're straight.
Kien

Kien, I could've sworn I didn't like this dude when we first saw each other. Nonetheless, he's one of my dudes haha. I don't necessarily remember how we really met other than through mutual friends. But I'll always know Kien as that competitive dude. I remember when I was moving into a new apartment, me, him and a few other guys were playing basketball. I gotta say Kien, you got one the goofiest forms in shooting basketball but you somehow score points bahaha. He def played the sport to heart.. As does beer pong!! Kien with the stuttering form just before he releases the pong ball to shoot. Too bad Kien moved out West. Regardless, he's a true friend, and we have a lot of adventures to catch up on -- hikes, hookah sessions, basketball, beer pong, sriracha burgers on the grill!! haha

Marquan reminds me of a mini Mike Tyson - soft spoken, but is ready to rage when need be haha (although we haven't truly had to unchain the beasts). But this guy gotta be the most interesting dude of the Groom Squad. Never have I met a black dude rock cowboy boots with swim trunks and a tank top. Not to mention, a monster truck as his daily drive. Marquan is that type of friend when you in some sort of thorn, he comes through to help. I've always been into staying healthy and fit, but Quan definitely opened my curiosity to bodybuilding and pushing the human body to next level. He's one of the more newer guys I've met in recent years, but he's got his head on his shoulders and is a good friend.

Kris & I were close growing up as kids, up until ‘bout end of middle school. We'd play basketball & other sports together, pretend we’re soldiers & spartans in the battlefield, to getting in some bad fights. He was the reserved, quiet, introverted one, as I have pretty much been outspoken, loud, & extroverted. Having a brother, I always felt that competitiveness with Kris. No older brother would want to lose to a younger as does a younger to an older. Now that we're grown and have gone our separate ways of things in life, I always value and cherish little Kris as any older sibling feels for their's. We don't connect like most siblings do anymore, as is in my family -- everything's so loose-knit. But regardless, I love my brother no less than when we were kids growing up playing together.
Broly
Best Dog
Richie and I couldnt have asked for a better dog, our fur baby Broly. He is the biggest baby of a pitbull you'll ever meet. I was hesitant at first with the idea of having a pet, let alone a pitbull! It did not take long for Broly to grow on me though; he is a momma's boy for sure. Soon as I'm around, he follows me all throughout the house. Richie tends to fuss at me for spoiling Broly but that's simply part of my nature. I am the docile and easygoing momma and Richie is the disciplinary, tough-love type. Nonetheless, we both love Broly too much not to have him be a part of his mommie & daddy's special day.
Kim
Flower Girl
Kim is Richie's little sister and I claim her as my sister too! lol We both love Kim; she is our little angel. Richie and I have watched Kim blossom throughout the years into such a bright little girl. She comes off coy at first but soon as she finds her comfort zone, she is full of energy and excitement. Kim is exceptionally bright for her age, polite and an absolute darling. She means the world to us!
KD
Ring Bearer
Oh KD our rambunctious one out of the bunch! KD is wired with great energy and laughter. He loves to show off his little race cars every time Richie and or I come to visit. He is engaging and an adventurous kid. I have always thought that KD will be a heartbreaker one day with his cuteness! Richie and I cannot wait to see KD’s handsome little face walking down the aisle!
Matthew
Ring Bearer
Sweet Matthew is the baby of the house in Richie’s family. He is one quiet kid (at least for now)! It takes a quite a bit of time for him to loosen up and actually act like he likes you lol! He is a good boy, I hardly see him throw a fit like some kids. Once he comes out of his shell, his face is all smiles! Matthew is a sweetheart and Richie and I are thrilled to have him be a part of our special moment.
