I would recommend a direct flight. Flying through Europe in February (winter time) is always unpredictable due to various weather delays.

Should I stay at the same hotel your wedding is being held (Cesars Palace)?

Answer

You certainly could. It's a fantastic hotel. However, it's quite far away from most attractions in the city. If you plan on coming to Dubai just to attend the wedding then I would recommend this option.
