We both attended the same high school and were both members of the wrestling team. As the season came to a close, a banquet was organized for all team members to receive their awards. We maintained a group chat with our teammates, and on one occasion, Andrew inquired, 'What should I bring?' I, without much thought, responded with 'cookies.' Approximately a month or two later, Andrew reached out to me privately, asking if we could 'talk.' I agreed, stipulating that it would be a friendly conversation. Little did I know, this would mark the beginning of our journey. He humorously reminds me to this day, saying, 'Look where you are now.'
