Matthew’s unwavering sense of loyalty and support has always been something Douglas admires and holds dear to him. Douglas knows that he can always count on Matthew, no matter what, even if that’s just helping him out with something small or being right next to him for his big day. Matthew’s example has always left Douglas with a sense of selflessness and a strive to be there for people, whether they deserve it or not. Matthew has always been one of two of Douglas’s trusted people; it is with no doubt he’ll be next to him on this day.

When Douglas and Yesimar were planning their bridal party, Douglas felt strongly about having his brothers by his side on their special day. Including his future brother-in-law, Pedro, was a perfect choice. Pedro has been a great friend to Douglas over the years, whether discussing games, sports—especially their shared belief that Bryce Harper is the best baseball player in the world—or navigating life's challenges together. Douglas is deeply grateful and honored to have Pedro stand beside him, welcoming him as another brother.

Growing up, Yesimar and her younger cousin Andrea couldn’t have been more different—Yesimar was the girly one who loved playing with dolls, while Andrea was the tomboy who’d rather be outside climbing trees or riding bikes. They didn’t always see eye to eye back then, but over the years, they came to see how those differences made their bond stronger. It’s that unique connection that brought them even closer, and now, Yesimar couldn’t imagine anyone else by her side as her maid of honor.

Ariangelys has always been Yesimar’s fun, wild, go-getter cousin—the one who brought the energy, kept everyone laughing, and was always up for anything. Watching her grow into the incredible mother she is today has been so inspiring to Yesimar. Her strength, love, and the way she juggles it all with grace and humor reminds Yesimar what it truly means to show up for the people you love. She’s incredibly proud of Ariangelys and so grateful to have her by her side on such a special day.

Growing up, Yesimar never saw Fransheska as just her older cousin—she always felt more like a big sister. What Fransheska might not realize is how much Yesimar looked up to her over the years. Whether it was needing advice, a good laugh, or someone to look up to, Fransheska was always there. Now, seeing Fransheska start her own business is incredibly inspiring, and watching how supportive and loving she is as a wife is something Yesimar truly admires—and hopes to reflect that in her own marriage. Having her by her side on her wedding day means everything.
