This photo was taken on their very first date. They had dinner at Table & Tap, then took a walk around Smallwood, New York — the town where Douglas grew up.

One of their favorite things to do together is going hiking. This photo was taken on their very first hike together.

Their first lake day together was in summer 2021, and since then, being out on the boat and catching sunsets has become their favorite way to spend summer days together.

For their one year anniversary, they went on a Rail Explorers ride — a scenic, pedal-powered adventure along old railroad tracks!

Summer 2022

Yesimar’s favorite holiday is Halloween, so they always go all out. One year, Douglas dressed up as his favorite superhero, Batman, while Yesimar was the perfect Catwoman!

One of Douglas and Yesimar’s favorite trips together was visiting Douglas’s roots in Scotland. Of course, Yesimar’s favorite part was meeting the adorable Highland cows.
