"I began studying on the fourth floor of the library in the beginning of my M2 year, and I became aware that the best looking dental student in our year also studied on that floor. We occasionally would have small conversations. 'Hey can you plug in my computer charger?' was honestly about as far as we got. Then one Friday night when I was out on Beale street with some classmates, I saw her at Tin Roof and finally had the courage to actually talk to her. We danced while a cover band played country music, and amidst the crowd of people I found an old dirty ring on the dance floor and used it to propose to her. The band stopped playing and announced that there was a proposal. Yesha was shocked and cried out, 'No no, it's not real!' That next day, I saw her again in the library. We studied all day until eventually I asked her to have a beer at Huey's, which is where our first official date took place. Halloween came around and a group of my classmates and I were planning on dressing up as the characters from "That 70's Show." We were in need of someone with the skin tone and personality to be Fez, and Yesha ended up being the woman for the job. Throughout the course of our relationship, we've continued this lighthearted and carefree attitude towards life. We make each other laugh, we challenge each other, and most of all we support each other through all endeavors. On November 2, 2019, on the Lost Creek Trail in the Red Rock Canyon National Park outside of Las Vegas, I asked Yesha to marry me. It was the happiest day of my life. She's my best friend, and I couldn't imagine going through life without her."
“The first memory I have of Tim was in October of 2017 at the school library: I always studied here, so I knew he wasn’t a ‘regular’. We had casual passes of ‘are you using that wall outlet?’ here and there but nothing more. Tim then approaches me at a bar the Friday night at the end of that week and actually jokingly proposed to me- the band thought it was a real proposal! I was so embarrassed, especially because I barely even knew this guy. The next morning I arrived at the library as per usual, Tim already there, and we said hi once again. We both studied for the next 12 hours or so, sitting catty-corned from each other. Everyone started to leave (it was a Saturday evening), and when it was just us two left studying, Tim approached me and asked me to a beer… IN PERSON. I had never been asked on a date in person. This was the first thing I noticed about Tim- he goes for what he wants. On this first date, we went straight from the library to Huey’s restaurant for a beer and fried pickles, and I had never laughed so hard. A couple of weeks go by and Tim asked me to be a part of his friend group Halloween costume for a party. That was the night I knew exactly how much I enjoyed being around him. 2+ years later, when Tim proposed to me while hiking in Las Vegas, I was speechless and was not expecting it for much longer, but of course, I can’t think of anyone else I would rather spend my life with. He is the easiest person to love.“
