Question

Why not wait to celebrate?

Answer

With the pandemic, we had to make some really tough decisions regarding our wedding. We are ready to begin our life as a married couple and family, so we don't want to wait. While we are excited to celebrate, this isn't just about a party. We want our family and friends to be a part of our wedding ceremony because you are important to us. Having supportive friends and family be a part of our wedding (both in-person and virtually) will enable us to know that we have a strong village surrounding us not only on our wedding day but throughout our lives together.

Question

What if I do not feel comfortable attending the in-person event?

Answer

We love you no matter what you decide! While we are doing everything we can think of to make things as safe as possible, there is still risk associated with any in-person events. Please attend the virtual event, and know that we in no way love you any less.

Question

I have never attended a Zoom Wedding, what should I expect?

Answer

Good! We have never thrown one, so at least we are all in the same boat. Here are some tips from Zola: https://www.zola.com/expert-advice/how-to-be-a-great-virtual-wedding-guest

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP for the in-person ceremony by November 1, 2020.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to limited seating in response to Covid-19, plus ones are not bountiful. Fortunately, everyone we have invited is fairly close-knit, so even without a date we hope you will feel comfortable!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is plenty of parking at the venue for the limited in-person guest list. Since we will be serving alcohol, make sure to have a safe plan for getting home.

Question

Will there be an open bar or cash bar?

Answer

There will be an open bar. We are pleased to get y'all good and spirited on our dime. Please consider bringing small bills to tip the bartender, though!
