If you arrive Friday afternoon we highly recommend this walking tour! We have done this tour several times and love it every time! It’s a history tour with a spooky theme!
Ports of Italy, Boothbay Harbor
This is one of our absolute favorite places for dinner. If you arrive Friday or stay Sunday evening, we highly recommend! Everything on the menu is incredible! We eat here at least once a year and every time it’s delicious!

This restaurant has a huge bar, live music, and a very diverse menu of local seafood and other fare! This is also a favorite spot of ours for lunch or late night entertainment!
Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens
Known for their woodland trolls and gorgeous flowers, it’s also home to Gardens A Glow in the winter and is lit up all in Christmas lights.

Red Cup Coffeehouse
Sydney often walks here on the mornings we stay in Boothbay to grab coffee for the two of us. We recommend the blueberry cinnamon roll or an iced coffee. Jason once saw a video that in the winter months, a man will often come in, make himself a pot of coffee and leave money on the counter for the owners to find once they open again for the season. Truly a wonderful spot with local charm.

L.L.Bean Flagship Store
This is in Freeport on the drive to Boothbay from Portland if you’re interested in seeing the flagship store! Freeport is a great area for shopping and the pumpkin festival is often happening in October!
