Michelle’s favorite hometown breakfast. Chute’s serves up a hearty country breakfast and would be a great spot for the morning after the wedding. Make sure to call ahead and place your name on the waitlist before you go in. Michelle and each of her siblings have worked at Chute’s throughout the years.
The Old Port is home to too many restaurants to name, quirky shops, specialty store fronts, and a handful of museums. It's hard NOT to find something to do in this busy little city. We'll share some of our favorites, but don't be afraid to bundle up and walk around downtown!
A favorite date night spot for Michelle & Ryan. This is the place to be to sample LOTS of craft beers and a huge menu for any food craving. HIGHLY recommend the dirty wings.
Trust us, they're worth it. Pre-order to avoid the lines. HIGHLY reccommend the Dark Chocolate Sea Salt and Blueberry Lemon Glaze.
Delicious beer options indoor and outdoor seating, and a permanent food truck residency from Fire & Co. Get their famous woodfire pizza!
Take the mail run or the sunset cruise. Make sure to grab a beverage to enjoy on the ride and maybe bring a blanket to keep warm while you sit on the deck.
Even in October the coast of Maine is beautiful. Fort Williams Park is a good way to get in some gorgeous lighthouse/ocean views as well as visit some of Maine's military history.
If you’d like to get some shopping in- Freeport is the place to be! A little ways outside of Portland, but worth the drive for LLbean and some good deals.
If you head to Freeport try out the tasting room and Maine Beer Co. so so many delicious offerings.
One of our favorite parks to walk through the woods, right on the coast.
