We postponed our wedding celebration in hopes we could still plan a wedding with our closet family and friends. Development of a vaccine and current state guidelines have us hopeful that we can all gather safely later this year. As of now, we are moving forward with planning an in-person gathering in October 2021. We ask that all guests be willing to consider the health and safety of other guests, and adhere to any guidelines in place by the state and/or bride as groom throughout the celebration. We'll be closely monitoring the situation of COVID-19 with our guests health and safety in mind. Should any alternative plans be made for our wedding day, we will be in touch with the news. We'll update all guests on current state guidelines closer to the date of the wedding.
Formal invitations will be mailed in mid-June 2021. We kindly ask that you respond by Sunday, August 15th, 2021.
An RSVP card, envelope and postage is included in the wedding invitation. If you have misplaced it, please reach out to us directly to confirm the status of your reservation.
It’s a wedding- let’s dress up! We’d love to see you dressed your semi formal/cocktail/evening best. When in doubt, look sharp!
We love October in Maine! Our ceremony will be outdoors and our reception will be under a tent on the lawn. Keep in mind October in Maine can be chilly if you are not used to it! We recommend suit jackets, shawls, or light coats to keep warm if you suspect you’ll be cold!
We love your kids, but we have chosen our wedding celebration to be an adult only occasion. Our hope is that those with children will still be able to attend and join in the celebration. Thank you for understanding.
Please take a look at our travel and accommodations page for information about local guest parking and shuttle service. Since the venue is a private residence there is no parking available.
Take a look at our ‘Worth a Visit’ page. We list lots of our local favorite spots and things to do in the surrounding towns.
It is so so thoughtful and kind that you were planning on purchasing a gift for us! We have been building a home together for years and a registry just didn’t seem to be a good fit for us. As an alternative, we have set up a cash fund on our registry page if you would still like to contribute to this next chapter of our life together.
After our ceremony there will be a cocktail hour with food items. The reception will have a buffet dinner service, drinks. The bride and groom really love a good dance party- so make sure to bring your dancing shoes!
