We've had to make the difficult decision to postpone our reception. The ceremony is still at the same time and place. See details on the FAQs page.

Things To Do

There will be a few hours between the ceremony and the reception. Feel free to explore the History Museum for the rest of the day, or you can explore Buffalo and the surrounding area. This region is one of the best-kept secrets in America. The city has a wealth of parks, museums, restaurants, bars, more bars, and of course, wings.

The Buffalo History Museum

1 Museum Court, Buffalo, NY 14216

All of our guests will have access to the ceremony venue for the remainder of the day. Feel free to check out some of Buffalo's fascinating and varied history in a building built for the Pan Am Exposition in 1901.

Delaware Park

Buffalo, NY

The Buffalo History Museum is adjacent to Buffalo's largest park, Delaware Park. The park was designed by Frederick Law Olmstead, the designer of Central Park in Manhattan.

Canalside

44 Prime Street, Buffalo, NY 14202

Closer to our reception venue, Canalside is a beautiful and historic park on the waterfront in Downtown Buffalo. The park is great for walking, tends to have a very nice breeze, and hosts some snack stands and restaurants.

Explore & More - The Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Children's Museum

130 Main Street, Buffalo, NY 14202

Explore & More - The Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Children's Museum is a museum in Buffalo, New York. The museum is for and about Buffalo - with seven play zones and three educational studios that are used to tell the unique story of Western New York.

Niagara Falls State Park

332 Prospect Street, Niagara Falls, NY 14303

Visitors to the Buffalo-Niagara Region almost always want to check out Niagara Falls, one of the most famous and awe-inspiring locations in the entire world.

Anchor Bar

1047 Main Street, Buffalo, NY 14209

Basically any bar or restaurant in Buffalo has wings, but the Anchor Bar is why they're called Buffalo wings. The world-famous originator of the recipe is a surprisingly understated place, but junk food history was made here.

Buffalo Architecture

No specific address, but everyone that comes to Buffalo is immediately taken with the architecture. From old-style houses dating to the 1800s to buildings designed by architectural icon Frank Lloyd Wright, Buffalo is a great place to be if you're a fan of architecture.

Buffalo AKG Art Museum

1285 Elmwood Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14222

Another location right near our ceremony venue, AKG is Buffalo's premier art museum. After a recent remodel, the building is even more beautiful now.

Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens

2655 South Park Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14218

The Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens are so beautiful that we considered getting married there. It's still a wonderful place to check out full of incredible plants and beautiful koi fish.

Burchfield Penney Art Center

1300 Elmwood Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14222

Another art museum right around the corner from the ceremony, the Burchfield Penney Art Center has a special focus on the art and culture of Buffalo.

Whitworth Ferguson Planetarium

1300 Elmwood Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14222

The Whitworth Ferguson Planetarium is an incredible experience. It holds a special place in our hearts, because we got engaged in the Planetarium after viewing the stars as they were on the night we met.
