When should we book our flights to Italy?

Answer

At least 4-5 months in advance. Please plan to arrive in Italy at least 2-3 days before the wedding for any unforeseen circumstances.

Which airport should we fly in to?

Answer

It is recommended to fly into FCO (Rome) Airport. Per our Italian host "Da Firenze è tutto più difficile ci le" or "From Florence everything is more difficult."

Question

Should we get a rental car?

Answer

Yes it is recommended to rent a car. Either airports (Rome or Florence) are about 1.5-2 hours away from the venue. Italians drive on the right side of the road, just like us! You are also welcome to take the train from airport to your hotel, then taxi to the venue.
