FAQs

Question

What time should guests arrive?

Answer

Please arrive between 1:45 PM and 2 PM so you have time to park, get settled, and be ready before the celebration begins at 2:30 PM. ****PLEASE DO NOT ARRIVE EARLIER THAN 1:45****

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is casual cocktail attire. Think stylish, comfortable, and celebration-ready. Dressy jumpsuits, cocktail dresses, slacks, button-downs, blazers, dressy separates, and polished fall outfits are all perfect.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be at the same location?

Answer

Yes. The ceremony and reception will both take place at Southland Country Club in Stone Mountain, Georgia

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will have an outdoor feel, weather permitting, and the reception will be indoors. We recommend dressing comfortably for the fall weather.

Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes, cocktails will be available. Please celebrate responsibly and plan your transportation accordingly.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Please only bring a plus one if your invitation specifically includes one. This helps us stay within our guest count and seating plan. No extra guest without the couple's approval.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

Unless we’ve personally extended an invitation to your children, we’re envisioning an adults-only celebration. We’d love for you to enjoy an evening just for yourself and look forward to celebrating with you! 16+ ONLY

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by September 2026 so we can finalize the guest count, food, seating, and wedding details.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests stay present during the ceremony. While we do welcome you to capture your point of view of our celebration, be mindful not to block anyone else's. Please keep phones silenced and avoid blocking the aisle or photographer area. Photos during the reception are welcome as well.

Question

Who should I contact with questions?

Answer

Please contact Shonda or Mike directly with any questions before the wedding day.
