They became even closer when Yari transferred to AU and they purposely picked every class together. They got in trouble for talking and giggling in every class they had together — yes they were those annoying classmates. They also became co-workers and sorority sisters. Yari is forever grateful for their friendship!

Kayla and Yari met because of their guys. Kayla went to elementary school with Leo and is now in a relationship with Leos older brother (also Leos best man)! Yari and Kayla are like sisters — they laugh, cry, bicker, and are always there for each other. It feels like they have known each other for years and know everything about one another. Yari is very thankful to have Kayla!

Yari and Diana have always been attached to the hip. Yari has always looked up to Diana since birth. She is the sister she needed. Diana is someone she can always count on. Even though Diana is a very busy hard working woman she makes time for her little cousin!

Jackie and Yari became best friends junior year of highschool, when Jackie transferred to OHS. They see each other at least once a week since then. Jackie has gone on a family vacation with Yari to Mexico. They understand eachother and lean on one another for everything. Yari is very lucky to have Jackie in her life!

Abril is Leo’s cousin. Yari and Abril clicked instantly. Yari loves Abril’s outgoing, fun, & wild personality. They will randomly talk on the phone at random times of the day and night. They are always there for each other and Yari is excited to become apart of her family!

Ashley and Yari became close when they had 5 classes together sophomore year of high school! Even when Ash left to college, they continued to visit each other. Yari loves Ashleys kind, outgoing, and fun personality. There is never a dull moment when they are together!

Blake and Yari became close friends in highschool. They often have sleepovers and coffee/homework dates. They also both pursuing their masters at Lewis! Blake is the kindest human being Yari has ever met. Their friendship is so genuine and wholesome.

Andrea and Yari became close friends in highschool (Andreas freshman year & Yaris sophomore year) and they also went to AU together! Yari saw andrea grow up into the amazing girl she is today and she could not be prouder. Andrea is one kind soul. They also share common interests- such as the counseling field! Their passion to help others creates a strong bond between them.

Jorge is Leos older brother. Jorge has always been someone that he has looked up to. They have always been as close as can be. Through highs or lows Jorge has always had Leos back, and there is no better fit for a best man than him.

Oscar is Leos older half-brother. Growing up in separate countries the two knew nothing of each other most of their lives. However, since first connecting a few years ago as adults, it has proven that a brother’s bond doesn’t have limits on borders, languages, distance or upbringing.

Miguel is one of Leos longest friends. They share so many adventures and interests. Leo and Miguel have been through so much together, and they can sit and chat for hours without a single silence in between. He is one of the most understanding people a friend can have.

Carlos and Leo had a near instant bond when they first met in freshman year in high school. They played the same sport, and had the same classes, mutual friends. He even made Leo a groomsman at his wedding in 2024. He is one of the most loyal men a friend can ask for. Fun fact - Yari and Carlos know each other since elementary school, before Leo met Carlos or Yari.
