Phone Service

To ensure you have phone service during your stay, we recommend checking with your stateside provider to unlock your phone. This will allow you to buy Travel SIM cards at the airport. You can also opt for an eSIM if it is compatible with your device.

Credit Cards & Currency

Check with your bank to set up travel plans which will help you avoid difficulty using your credit card while overseas. You can also exchange currency at the airport upon your arrival.

Flight

Venice Marco Polo Airport

You will need to fly into Venice Marco Polo Airport, this might be the perfect time to do some sight-seeing of the canals! From here you can chose to rent a car in the airport and take the scenic drive down to Treviso. Travel time from the Venice Airport to the wedding venue is approximately 40 minutes by car.

Train

TrenItalia

Train travel is big in Europe. It is the best way to travel without having to worry about driving in a new country. You can find several apps to buy tickets but TrenItalia is the original train transportation app. It is easy to to use and navigate. You can take a water taxi to the train station and be on your way. This, of course, would require a bit more logistical planning than renting a car but if you are looking to save a few Euros, this is an affordable option. Driving in Italy

If you are planning on renting a car during your stay (which we highly recommend), you will need an international drivers license. AAA offers this service, please visit the website for more details. Keep in mind, processing time can take up to 2 weeks. We recommend applying well in advance to avoid any difficulties.
