We're getting married!

We were born worlds apart… well Florida and Indiana may as well be different worlds. Through chance, luck, fate (you decide), our paths crossed all the way in Aviano, Italy, where we were both stationed. Our first encounter happened when Guiseppe came in for an eye appointment at the base clinic where Yadira worked as a technician. Though Guiseppe was a man of few words this day... One could say it was love at first sight.

In February 2023, Guiseppe was interested in taking a trip somewhere. We decided on Florence, which is one of our favorite cities. On this trip to Florence to admire the beauty of the city and enjoy a nice weekend away, we had dinner at a restaurant we discovered on our first trip to Florence. After enjoying our Fiorentina steak in the atmosphere of one of the best restaurants in Italy, we ventured back to our hotel room. It was on the walk back when Guiseppe proposed under the night sky, overlooking Ponte Vecchio.

We have been blessed enough to live in Italy, giving us the opportunity to choose to have our wedding here. After all, this is where our love story began. We are getting married at a villa in the Treviso province. Hotel Relais Villa Cornér della Regina is our venue and it perfectly encompasses the charm and romance of Italy.
