Once upon a time, Arete Dance Center needed more instructors. Kris went off armed with fliers and a determination to find some. She was walking at Foothill College and overheard some people talking about dancing. She interrupted their conversation and asked them if she could join them to observe their class. They agreed and brought her to one of the studios at Foothill College. She asked the instructor if she knew of anyone who was interested in teaching and the woman was like "Wait right here..." a minute later Kris and Yuriy were strolling the campus together quietly. It wasn't love at first sight, or even a thought in their heads but that was the first meeting...
