TIBURON - FOOD & DRINK More than just Tiburon's token dive bar, Sam's also has a fantastic back patio over the Bay where you might want to go for brunch and a Bloody with a view on Saturday or Sunday morning.

TIBURON - FOOD Salt & Pepper recently started serving breakfast, so if you want something a little more formal than Cafe Acri or Sam's for breakfast on the big day, this Tiburon restaurant is a great choice!
Tiburon Ferry Terminal
TIBURON - SIGHTS A great way to explore other parts of the Bay is by boat, so hop on the ferry from Tiburon to visit Sausalito, the San Francisco Ferry Building, or Fisherman's Warf.

TIBURON - FOOD & DRINK, SHOPPING Take the short walk from the Lodge up Main Street to Ark Row for some local shops and bites, including a wine tasting room, and a Jacobs family favorite - Schoenberg Guitars.
Muir Woods National Monument
MARIN - SIGHTS For a walk through the majestic Redwood trees, visit Muir Woods. Head's up, though, this is a very popular destination, so you have to make shuttle or parkings reservations in advance.

TIBURON - SHOPPING In case you forgot any necessities back home, there's a CVS less than a block away from the Tiburon Lodge!
Blackie's Pasture
TIBURON - SIGHTS, EXERCISE For a scenic jog or walk by the Bay, take the Tiburon bike path stretching for three miles from Elephant Rock Pier to Blackie's Pasture. You'll even pass Liz's elementary school on the way.
Philz Coffee
MARIN - FOOD & DRINK If you're planning to drive from Marin up to wine country, take a pit stop at our favorite coffee shop. Philz only serves pour over coffee, and you can choose how creamy and/or sweet. Ryan recommends the mocha Tesora. Liz's parents will tell you to try the Julie's Ultimate or the Jacob's Wonderbar. For a unique treat, Liz recommends the iced mint mojito. There are also multiple locations in San Francisco.
Crissy Field
SAN FRANCISCO - SIGHTS Visit Crissy Field for a walk on the beach by the Bay, right under the Golden Gate Bridge.
Stinson Beach
MARIN - SIGHTS This is a nice Northern California beach and beach town in Marin if you want to visit the ocean. Just know that NorCal beaches are not warm like SoCal beaches, so it's unlikely you'll get much sunbathing in, and the water is very chilly.
Muir Beach
MARIN - SIGHTS This is another beach in Marin that you can combine with a trip to Muir Woods or a hike on Mount Tam. Again, though, it probably won't be too warm, so it's unlikely you'll get much sunbathing in, and the water will be cold.
Sausalito
MARIN - SIGHTS, FOOD & DRINK, SHOPPING Sausalito is an artsy town on the Bay, right across the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco. Take the ferry or drive over from Tiburon for food, drinks, shopping, and sights. Favorite spots include Sushi Ran, Fish, Bar Bocce, and the Munchies candy store.
Marin Headlands
MARIN - SIGHTS Take a drive through the Marin Headlands for breathtaking views of San Francisco, the Bay, the Pacific Ocean, the Golden Gate Bridge, and Marin. Lots of areas to pull over for photo ops here, and if you decide to take a page out of Ryan's book and rent a zippy sports car, the windy open roads will not disappoint.
Mount Tamalpais
MARIN - SIGHTS, EXERCISE For great hiking, head up to Mount Tam, where you can find trails of various difficulty and length, winding through forest, hillside, and ocean view terrain. Liz's favorite path is Mount Davis, connecting to the Coastal trail.
The Marine Mammal Center
MARIN - SIGHTS This animal rescue center was a favorite spot of Liz's as a child, allowing an up close and personal look at sea lions, seals, and other SF Bay marine life.

Presidio
SAN FRANCISCO - SIGHTS The Presdio was once a major military post, but is now a large park area with historic buildings and interesting places to explore. Head up from Crissy Field to Sessions for a meal, and then take a drive or a walk through the 1,500 acre park.
Fort Mason Center
SAN FRANCISCO - SIGHTS, FOOD & DRINK Once known as the San Francisco Port of Embarkation, Fort Mason is a former United States Army post that is now a center for arts & culture on the Bay. Head to Greens for a healthy and delicious lunch right on the water, with a gorgeous view.
Fisherman's Wharf
SAN FRANCISCO - SIGHTS, FOOD & DRINK Hop on the ferry to Fisherman's Wharf for a few iconic SF experiences - Grab an ice cream cone and walk down to the water at Pier 39 to visit the sea lions sunning themselves and barking on the docks. Head to Alioto's for a delicious crab feast overlooking the Bay. Enjoy a yummy sourdough bread bowl at Boudin.
Haight-Ashbury
SAN FRANCISCO - SHOPPING, FOOD & DRINK Visit the intersection of Haight and Ashbury streets to experience the birthplace of the 1960s counterculture movement. This area offers great boutique shopping, places to eat, and an authentic taste of SF hippie culture.

WINE COUNTRY - FOOD & DRINK If you're heading to Sonoma for a day of wine tasting, Sonoma Plaza sits in the center of many great wineries. A few top recommendations include Scribe, Gunlach Bundschu, Vianasa, and Domaine Carneros. Please note, you will need a car to get from one winery to another, and it would be a good idea to make reservations in advance. If you'd rather travel by foot, there are also many great tasting rooms in Sonoma Plaza that you can walk to.
